Ulrika Prytz Rugfelt

Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer, Copenhagen Malmö Port
Ulrika Prytz Rugfelt is a seasoned communications executive with a strong track record in both the private and public sectors. She currently serves as Chief Communication and Sustainability Officer at Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP), where she plays a key role in positioning ports as critical infrastructure within the European transport network. Ulrika actively drives sustainability initiatives, with a particular focus on the maritime sector’s green transition.
Since joining CMP in 2016, Ulrika has been responsible for the company’s overall communication strategy across Denmark and Sweden. Her scope includes public relations, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, crisis communication, marketing and branding, as well as internal communications.
Prior to her current role, Ulrika worked as a senior consultant in public relations and public affairs, and held leadership positions in communications within the energy and telecom industries. She holds a Master of Science in Communication from Lund University, along with a business degree from Executive Foundation Lund.
Ulrika Prytz Rugfelt has held a board position in the Baltic Port Organisation (BPO) since 2022.
