Minna Pirkkanen, M.Sc. (Environmental and Energy Technology), has served as Managing Director of the Port of Turku since June 1st 2026. She has extensive international leadership experience in the technology sector, specializing in strategic business development, customer-oriented innovation, and organizational transformation. 

Before joining the Port of Turku, she spent 16 years at Sandvik in senior roles across product development, lifecycle services, and global operations, including assignments in the United States and the Netherlands. She later led KONE Corporation’s global modernization portfolio, focusing on service commercialization and customer value creation. 

Pirkkanen is committed to driving growth and strengthening the Port of Turku’s role as a key partner for regional business and logistics.
