Mikael Löfqvist is the CEO of Scandic Trans, a Finnish logistics group with operations across several locations in Finland and Sweden. Under his leadership, the company has grown into one of the leading logistics providers in the Nordic region, with a particular focus on temperature-controlled transportation.

Mikael holds a degree in International Trade and, with more than three decades of experience in the transport and logistics industry, has been a driving force behind the green transition of Nordic logistics. By combining innovation, digitalization and low-emission transport solutions, he works to strengthen the industry’s competitiveness while reducing its environmental impact.

Scandic Trans was an early adopter of HVO renewable fuel in its transport operations, and together with customers and partners, Mikael has helped develop the Baltic Sea region’s first green transport corridor for food transportation.

In addition to his role as CEO, Mikael is also a respected speaker and has taught logistics and supply chain-related subjects.
