Ilkka Rytkölä, a master of naval architecture from Aalto University, carries over three decades of comprehensive experience from the international and particularly Finnish marine industry. Currently serving as the Ecosystem Lead at Meyer Turku Shipyard, he brings his innovative and inspiring spirit to every endeavour. Ilkka has a proven track record in digitalisation, spearheading innovations, and the design and development of various products, systems, and solutions.

His expertise spans from working closely with ship owners, shipyards, start-ups, and suppliers to overseeing concept development, sales, marketing, and the management of diverse portfolios. His extensive experience has solidified his comprehensive understanding of the maritime sector, blending seamlessly with his natural attributes – being inspiring, active, cooperative, and an adept leader.

Ilkka is not just professionally devoted to the marine world, his personal passions also lie here. A lover of marine life and nature, he enjoys yachting and Formula windsurfing in the stunning Turku archipelago.
