Alan Aleksandrowicz
Vice President of the Management Board for Finance and Security Port of Gdańsk Authority
Alan Aleksandrowicz, Vice President of the Management Board for Finance and Security, has worked in the field of economy and investments almost from the beginning of his professional career.
He is also the Chairman of the Baltic Ports Organization. In his additional role, he shares his expertise in port infrastructure, security, digitalization and international relations.
In 2008 he initiated operations of Gdansk Economic Development Agency Ltd. (InvestGDA) founded by the City of Gdansk and later served as its CEO for 12 years. He led initiatives supporting investors and activating strategic investment areas, particularly in the industrial and logistic zones of the Gdansk seaport area.
His extensive experience in managing large-scale investment projects was further strengthened during his tenure as Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk (2019–2022), where he managed and oversaw key urban infrastructure developments. He has chaired boards of various public and economic entities, enhancing his governance expertise.
He also served in the Foreign Service at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago (1999-2003).
His international collaboration experience and strategic approach, developed through roles focused on fostering partnerships and economic growth, align well with his current role – the Vice President of the Board for Finance and Security at the Port of Gdansk Authority.
